Welcome to your newsletter for week ending October 2nd

What a wonderful end to the week with two fantastic talent shows- we were thrilled to see so many of our children up on the stage- just over 250 boys and girls showed off their talents and wowed us with their confidence, passion and variety.

Thankyou to all the family members who came to watch- it really did make the occasion extra special to see so many of you there. As we reminded the children today, the show came as a result of two of our previous BVP children who wanted to create an event for the whole school, and with drive and perseverance, the BVP Talent Show was created! And what an amazing third show it was! We are already looking forward to the next one, which will coincide with the theatre's 100th birthday!

Robot/Rockstar Day

On Thursday, the children were excited to come to school dressed as robots or rockstars to celebrate the launch of Numbots and TT Rock Stars! There were some truly amazing outfits, featuring guest stars Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Jackson and Elton John, and most importantly, there was some incredible maths learning going on around the school. If you want to practice Numbots/TTRS at home, use the login details provided in your child's planner. Reception - yours came home on a letter this week, and planners will be sent home shortly!

Next week we will be on WEEK 3 of the menu.

You can pre-book meals in advance on Arbor till the end of the academic year (Arbor>> Meals>> Meal Choices Available>> Select Meal Choice)

Reminder: Even if your child is a packed Lunch, parents will need to book that lunch option on Arbor!

CHRISTMAS CARDS

As mentioned in Tuesday’s email, all children should have come home with their Christmas artwork forms this week. If not, please ask your child's teacher for a blank form, this can then be completed at home.

The previous card company is no longer trading so the process is slightly different this year.

There will be no sample cards, and if you would like to order you will need to use the unique order code on your child's artwork form. After ordering this form must then be returned to school by Friday 9th October.

After this date you will need to contact Cauliflower Cards directly- https://www.cauliflowercards.co.uk/parents-shop
