Within our school, children from Year 3 - Year 6 have been trained as Digital Ambassadors. Their role is to raise and improve the profile and understanding of online safety. They provide advice and information to other children on e-safety. By doing this, they ensure that children respect each other online and learn to make the right choices.
Our Digital Ambassadors are a group of inspiring and forward-thinking pupils who help shape digital life at our school. They are passionate about technology and committed to promoting safe, responsible, and creative use of the online world for all learners. Digital Ambassadors play an important role in:
- Supporting their peers with digital tools and learning platforms such as TTRS
- Sharing online safety advice in classrooms and assemblies
- Helping staff trial new apps, websites, and digital resources
- Creating child-friendly charters, guides and posters to support digital wellbeing
- Representing pupil voice in all areas of digital leadership
- Taking charge of connecting laptops to the technology trolley on a weekly basis
Through teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity, our ambassadors will develop valuable skills including communication, confidence, digital citizenship, and technical knowledge. They will meet every half term to keep each other updated.
