Welcome to your newsletter for week ending January 16th
We are very happy to have managed a full week in school; after all that snow last Friday, it seems unbelievable that it was here at all! We've kicked off Jobs January with plenty of visits. We are looking forward to many more over the course of the month and at the end of January, we will give a summary of all the professions represented by our visitors.
Our visit from B Ware was huge success with all children meeting and working with the author. We have another author visitor next week for children in Years 5 and 6... don't forget to pre-order books if interested. The link is here.
It was great to see so many parents and the Parents' evenings this week. We hope the earlier than usual timing of this was helpful and along with the data shared before Christmas, you have a good idea of how your children are doing. If you weren't able to make it, please call the school office or email your teachers with a request to meet.
Also, remember that the year group website pages give you a good idea of what children are learning this term- if you think something is missing, please let us know!
From next week we will start sharing 'You said.. we did...' using responses from the Autumn Parent/ Carer survey. We still have a reduced number of responses - the survey is still open if you have a few minutes to give feedback here.

Take care- we hope you all have a good weekend.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children’s best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information, and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
