Further information, as well as the admission arrangements to support parents/carers with making their preferences, can be found on the school admissions website. Advice and guidance is also available from Children's Services on 0121 303 1888.

Toy Donations
Our lunchtime staff are in need of some school appropriate toys for all year groups. If you're having a clear out over the half term, we would be more than happy to take them off your hands.
If you are unsure if the item you wish to donate is "school suitable" you can take a picture and email [email protected] and we can get back to you after the half- term.

Extra Dinners
We are still having a number of extra children coming down for dinners when parents have provided them with a packed lunch. The most common day for this is unsurprisingly Friday – Pizza Day! If you could kindly remind your child/ren that you get charged when they go for a dinner, this should hopefully stop any unwanted/unexpected charges on your account.
Young Voices Tickets
If your child is set to perform at Young Voices this year, parents can buy tickets directly via the YV website.
Due to issues with the company’s school ticket booking system last year, we have decided it is best for parents to purchase their own tickets.
They currently have a special offer on until November 7th 2025. You can purchase these at a special schools' rate via the Parent Music Room.
Any issues, please contact the school office.

This week the attendance armadillo's were handed to...

As we reach the half-term break, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on the first half of the term and celebrate how much our children have already achieved. It’s been a busy few weeks filled with learning, friendship, and community spirit. We’re so proud of how students have supported one another and shown resilience as they’ve settled back into school life.
Our KS2 Nurture group enjoyed a wonderful end to their sessions as we went to Bournville Park to complete a nature walk. The children loved exploring the park , playing ‘Pooh Sticks’ and completing a ‘Rainbow Walk.’

Thank you to all of the parents and carers who attended our Beacon Schools Workshop on Anxiety. This workshop will run again in the spring Term.
If you would like to view the PowerPoint it can be found on our website https://www.bournvillevillageprimary.org.uk/Page/Detail/our-pastoral-team#by or by clicking this link.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children’s best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information, and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
