If you are unsure whether your child is displaying symptoms of COVID-19, up to date guidance can be found here:

Below is a quick reference guide to procedures for pupil absence

From Birmingham with Love: We’ve all been through a tough time with Covid-19 and lockdown. Here are some of our partners’ most used services and support, which might make life a little bit easier…

As we return to school, we will be reminding the children of our behaviour expectations:

  • Be kind
  • Be safe
  • Be responsible

and our school values:

  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Challenge
  • Integrity
  • Compassion
  • Collaboration

The newsletter at the link below was sent out on 4th September and explains some of the ways our expectations and values are going to contribute to reducing risk at school - please take some time to share the newsletter with your child. Thank you for your support.

If you have travelled overseas please check the rules on quarantine here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-advice-novel-coronavirus

If your family is required to quarantine following a trip overseas, please let us know about your child's absence via attendance@bournvillevillageprimary.org.uk. Please include the following in your message:

  • Child(ren's) name(s)
  • Class(es)
  • End date of quarantine period so that we know when to expect your child(ren) back in school

In the event of confirmation of a positive case of COVID-19 in school, we will follow the most recent guidance from Public Health. Please see the flowchart at the following link:
